All joint heads presents a 12/14 taper compatible with any femoral stem of Permedica.
On special request, joint heads with 10/12 and 14/16 taper are also available.
II. Our products
FEMORAL BALL HEADS
Permedica produces a complete range of joint heads in different diameters (22, 28, 32, 36 and 40mm) and neck lengths (S, M, L, XL).
Metal heads (PM734 highly nitrogenized Stainless Steel alloy or CrCoMo alloy) and BIOLOX® delta ceramic heads are available.
Ceramic heads BIOLOX® option are available for partial revision cases where the femoral head is replaced maintaining the stem in place.
BI-POLAR HEADS
A wide range of Bi-polar Heads is available for partial hip replacements, in modular version (diameters from 39 to 60mm) with 28 mm socket.
The Bi-polar Heads consists of a PM734 highly nitrogenized Stainless Steel alloy outer shell with UHMWPE inner core.
ENDO-HEADS
Metal heads for partial hip replacements available in diametrs from 40 to 63mm, made of PM734 highly nitrogenized Stainless Steel alloy (ISO5832/9).
